    • Perhaps a gift, skill, or contribution of the querent's which will last through the ages.
    • A treasure of the ages which should be handled with care.
    • A priceless heirloom passed down through generations.
    • A legendary treasure.
    • Wealth which opens doors for others to live better lives. Resources like college scholarships and grants, and charity organizations.
    • A savings account that has been filled over a long period of time.
    • Finding an item that was presumed lost.

Earth (wealth, treasure, skills) and the Ether (freedom, vastness, time, pathways) combine to symbolize treasures. The Five of Coins signifies wealth amassed over time, or priceless artifacts preserved for generations or even ages.

If this card indicates wealth, it is the kind of wealth which encourages and inspires others to nurture their own portion with care. As such, it could also represent resources like college scholarships, or charity organizations which help others to improve their lives. Such wealth is the gift of work and wisdom combined, a treasure to be guarded, and a boon to many.

If it indicates artifacts or heirlooms, they could be passed down by families or friends over generations, or they may be priceless historical artifacts or works of art. They may be legendary treasures which have yet to be discovered.

Abstract

(Reversed)

    • Thouroughness, minding all details.
    • Adaptation, getting used to something, getting into a routine.
    • Adjustment to new a situation or a way of life.
    • Practicing any skill.
    • Becoming coordinated at something, though perhaps not masterful yet.

The Abstract Five of Coins is abstract Earth (normalcy, toil, security, mundanity) related to the element Ether (experience, large amounts, journeys). It could mean getting used to something, or getting into a routine, which may have been difficult at first. It could similarly mean perseverance, or seeing something through to the end. This is likely a card of both acceptance and determination, of gritting one's teeth and bearing it while growing accustomed to the circumstances.

The Abstract Five of Coins could also signify getting past the beginning stages of a venture or hobby, and no longer feeling like a novice. Similarly, it could indicate practicing anything toward the end of improvement or mastery.

The combination of the numerous, varied, and experiential nature of Ether and the concrete nature of Earth also suggests the minding of many details, and being thorough.
