Earth Attained is the mastery of the physical and the everyday. It is the realization of security, material wealth, and worldly beauty. Attainment may come from activities in the vein of renovating one's home to maximize its comfort, fortitude, and functionality, or securing a career which promises to be more fulfilling in the day-to-day, and to provide compensation enough to ensure no material scarcity in the immediate or distant future. Because the element Earth deals with securing wealth as well as acceptance and appreciation, Attainment entails both the fulfillment of material necessities and the capacity to be satisfied with such stability and prosperity.

Sometimes the Attainment of Earth may refer to physical security and worldly comfort, and at other times it may refer to the means to such an end. This card may signify the capacity to manage ventures and wealth, to grow companies in size and in worth, and to grow one's own financial assets. This is the card of the ideal manager.

If this card is in reference to a certain substance which is desired, and not material security or wealth in general, then Earth Attained represents the ability to maintain a sufficient quantity of the substance in question, and the ability to be satisfied and to instill satisfaction with that sufficient quantity. It is the assurance that the substance will always be present, and not deficient.

Every Emergent element (every element card reversed) indicates a proverbial gift from the universe related to the essence of the element. The emergence of Earth is the development of prospects, or appearance of substances, which pertain to material wealth, security, and simple pleasures. Sometimes job opportunities fall out of the sky, and new riches and treasures manifest from from friends, family, or seemingly from the ether. Such riches and treasures could be monetary, or they could be precious belongings, or even necessities like food or clothing.
